Here at MyMane we continue to strive towards ensuring our manuals are neurodivergent friendly.
All of our classes are one-to-one at no extra cost, as we're aware that working in groups can cause an unnecessary hurdle for some.
MyMane Locs strives to help others like herself who may also have ADHD or AuDHD, as these groups are more likely to suffer discrimination in the workplace. Statistically speaking, up to 35% of the freelance workforce in the UK is neurodivergent. Those who are employed may come across more barriers than their colleagues and also suffer from burn-out more frequently than their neurotypical peers.
What about the neurotypicals I hear you say? Of course, this course is suited for all but the manuals were created with our neurodivergent folk in mind.
What to expect
Classes start time: 10am - 3pm Saturday to Sunday
Student kits: Each student will receive their own free starter kit, at the beginning of the class, so there is no need to bring anything with you on the day.
